David Schachne

David has sales, business development and direct marketing in his blood. For twenty years, he has led companies and teams in a variety of businesses. He is an expert in subscription marketing, including acquisition, retention, cross-selling and up-selling. He joined his second company in 1990 as the sixth employee and helped grow the company to over 2,000 employees and almost one billion dollars in sales. He is a co-founder of one of the largest providers of working capital to small businesses in the nation. He has been involved in M&A, both on the buy side and sell side. He has led business development and sales teams and has structured deals with hundreds of companies, including the top digital marketing brands in the world, major ecommerce companies, DRTV companies, top financial institutions, catalog brands and more. He has a solid understanding of membership marketing, insurance marketing, elective health surgery lead generation, affiliate marketing, loyalty marketing and more. He is an expert on call center sales, both inbound and outbound, digital marketing (in particular display advertising) and most importantly, business development.
David received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He has served on the boards of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of CT, iplace.com and Capital Access Network Inc. He is a fitness enthusiast, climbs mountains whenever he has a chance to do so, and has competed in the the Bataan Death March, the Empire State Building Run Up and other unusual physical events. He is the author of The Trek.
